Seoul - Day 15

Today the weather forecast predicted rain, but throughout the morning it was alright. Dark clouds were covering the sky and a breezy wind slowly pushed them north, but not a single drop. After I finished all the stuff I had planned to take care of before noon, I texted Wonseok hyung and Phil and proposed skating at Cult before it would start to rain. They said alright and I packed my backpack accordingly: a towel, flip flops and a few fresh tee shirts to change into.

At Manoffin I got some coffee and a snack for the ride. Twenty minutes later I was in Jongno 4-ga. My muffin was gone and sipping the rest of my Americano I was looking forward to a funky skate session with my friends. I thought of a good line to skate and about new tricks to try, when I suddenly noticed that water was dropping off the tips of people's umbrellas. Rapidly I went for the nearest exit and sped out, just to confirm my worries.

It was raining. Not fiercely, but in a rather annoying way. Too much to think it would stop soon and dry up in half an hour, but not enough to call it refreshing. I walked down to the tracks again and took a train back home. It was depressing. Another twenty minutes, lost and gone. That's almost an hour of precious Seoul time that I'm not gonna get back. But I want to look at it in a positive way, at least I got breakfast.
