The two-day trip was cut short by a huge festival at the Lake Park in Ilsan where we wanted to end this journey. After a highly productive yesterday, we started today again before nine. Two cups of strong coffee slowly made the gears in my body rotate. We were out and skating a super tight manual spot before the clock struck noon. It was another day under a large pastel colored sky.
After a burger lunch we moved on to the neighboring city of Ilsan. There's plenty of spots to be found, but we didn't really explore the streets this time. There was a sizable bank that the young blood threw themselves in with a 360 pop shove-it and a heelflip. Nak shot the photos and almost all of us got some kind of footage out of this trip. Myself, I got a little clip that I want to use someday.
The tricky part for me, and for Brian as well, is that I have to write about it after I get back home. Obviously, it's best to do so when everything is still fresh in the memory, but to find the right time to just sit down and type is rather difficult. Writing a trip article is difficult in itself. Well, that's one more thing on my list now. It was a good trip though, let's see how it comes out in the magazine.
