Every new month holds roughly thirty opportunities to do something amazing. Because, the way I see it, every single day should be regarded as exactly that. An opportunity. To do something good, or something new, or something inspiring and brave. Everyday you have a choice, to make something happen. Something that makes you feel great.
Of course, that's a lot easier said than done. You get caught up in everyday stuff, casual duties and errands that don't allow much room for errors, or even minor steps out of one's regular track. And no one is to blame for that, because it's perfectly understandable. Routine and regularity, rhythm and stability, who can possibly say no to that.
Still, what I'm trying to say is that every now and then we should try and be open enough to at least do something ordinary in a slightly different way. Because every experience, whether good or bad, makes us a bit wiser in the end. This month is going to bring me many changes and challenges, and I hope I find enough courage to seize every day.
