End of April

Another month is gone. Thirty days full of small and big events. A trip to Germany, lots of reading and typing, and of course my first concert at Koko. I went to the SOAS library a lot, made use of my free credits for the copier, and finally found a good short story to translate for my final thesis. Other than that, term three has not been very scholastic.

Last year around this time I was in a very different place. I was at the Thai Wake Park with my brother Tobs. It was before Tom and Jessie arrived and we went out a lot to explore Bangkok. Amazing how distant that trip has become already, how far away it feels from where I am at this point, a year later. I moved on, I guess, we all have, but sometimes I like to look back.

Looking back is fun, but looking ahead makes me uncomfortable. Actually, not so much anymore, much less than a few months ago, but still a little bit. Because things here will soon come to an end and make way for new things to come. Part of me is anxious about the change that is about to come, and part of me is already looking forward to it. Well, let's see how things will work out.
