Month Number Ten

October. The tenth month of the year. Unbelievable. And yet real, of course. The pages of my calender are slipping through my hands like the leaves drop down from the trees outside. The wind picks them up and carries them here and there, takes them on far away journeys, to exciting places and new terrains on the other side of the street. Often they stay together and mingle on the sidewalk. I wonder what they talk about. Probably the weather, maybe the people who greet them when they look up in the sky.

That's pretty much what I think the first week of school will be like. The first classes will be attended and lectures will be held, my timetable will carry me to school everyday and the room numbers will push me from one end of the campus to the other. All I can do is obey and gain from the academia. I can't wait. And until then I enjoy things like indoor foosball with Seungkeuni and some other guys who I will meet every Saturday morning from ten to eleven. I had no idea how bad my sports condition had become.

In the afternoon I met Nicole from Switzerland who came to London with two other friends for only one real day. When I arrived at Aldgate East Station, Jessi was already with them, too. They're all leaving tomorrow and I'm glad I could meet them today. We went to Shoreditch and checked out Brick Lane a bit. Most of the halls were empty, but the shops were open and we found a few nice things. The weather was so warm and cozy that our snack from the street restaurant became a lenghty picknick in the sun.
