100% Design - Day 3

Today I arrived a little extra early and had time left on my hands before I had to go in. I was too lazy to bother for making breakfast in the morning so I was kind of hungry. I picked a Coffee Shop down the street, near the exhibition hall. They serve tasty pastry and free wifi. I ordered a sandwich and a black coffee and took a seat outside. The wifi allowed me to say hello to Ee in Korea and we had a fantastic chat over breakfast. Amazing how technology makes you feel like you were sitting at the same table.

It's only the third day of work and I'm already running out of semi-fancy things to wear. Sure, it's a design fair and the majority of spectators looks like the average dude from the supermarket, but the product that I'm representing looks rather classy, so I don't want to risk a casually dressed faux pas and get fired. On the other hand I'm not supposed to look too stiff, so that people wouldn't want to approach the booth. For the first day I wore a normal black suit with a white shirt, not tucked into my pants and no tie, and white slip-ons.

Yesterday I chose a light blue shirt and naturally matching shoes: light blue canvas Adidas Skateboarding designed by Mark Gonzales. I'm so glad that we don't have to wear formal shoes. Not only would the standing be much harder, but also the possibilities of matching things would be super limited. Today the doors were opened to students, so we were told to wear more comfy outfits. I picked a beige chino, a white shirt and a navy sweater which I combined with navy shoes, of course, and made me look like a student myself.
