Seoul - Day 8

Today I met Sook nuna and Bumki hyung. I'm always happy to see these two. They are so much fun to hang out with and talk to. Even when I was here for a longer time I didn't get to see them often, because all of us had jobs and lived in very different parts of the city. So I was glad they both had time to spare today. We met in Myeongdong, which is pretty much in the middle of all our homes. We first grabbed a bite at New York Hot Dogs and Coffee, which was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it, and then went to a Jeju Green Tea house.

It did look like rain all day, but I wasn't expecting what was going on when we left the place. It was raining cats and dogs, people hid under whatever they could find, others ran like they probably never ran before. Bumki hyung managed to get us umbrellas and we somehow made our way to the subway station. I took a train down south, because I had dinner plans with my relatives in Suwon. It took almost an hour and a half to get there, and I didn't get a seat the entire time. And of course the batteries of my music player were low.

Later in the evening I came back to Seoul and met Seungwook and the hyungs in Hongdae. It was sort of late, but I still wanted to join them for a bit. They've already had a few drinks and 109 hyung was sleeping with his eyes open. It's always fun to see the guys. We soon took off and I walked from Hongdae to my place in Shinchon. It's not far and I enjoyed the little stroll through the brightly lit streets. Sooner or later I think I might be coming back to Seoul for a longer period. At least longer than the few days that I have now.
