The capital of North Joella, famous for its delicious strawberries and home to more than six hundred thousand souls. The actual land of my ancestors and the last destination for our trip. We were navigated to a spot in the middle of three very different monuments: a European-looking church, a traditional Korean house of royalty and a modern glass building.
It had a number of ledges and plenty of flatground as well as the most enjoyable natural hips that I've ever skated in my life. The weather turned sunny too and we had a super mellow session all afternoon. Most of the shoots were done and we tried to finally get a shot of Kyeung-min. He tried a nollie inward heel, but couldn't get it straight for over an hour.
At the end it was Gun-hoo who got a sequence of a lofty tre flip. Nothing much was to be squeezed out of the fatigue bodies of ours and after a good cup of coffee we slowly decided to call it a day. One last time we packed our bags, put all the gear in its designated spots and took our seats in the twelve-seater Starex. The ride home was quiet for me, I slept most of the time.
Back in Seoul I was dropped off in Gangnam, kind of far away from home. I can safely say that this was the best skate trip I've been on so far. It hasn't been too many, but this one is definitely the one that all the following ones have to be measured by. The talks in between, the fun side of things while others try their tricks, I think that's the best part. I'm looking back on a legendary three days.
