Choose Your Life

I often wonder what it would be like to live a different life. The reason I do that is because I leave my apartment everyday and see a variety of people in the streets, on my way to work, at the bus stop. What would it be like to have a job in an underground shopping center, for example? Every booth is a container boutique, same size different decoration.

Artificial light, second-hand air and public toilets. Think about it, in the winter you'd have to open before the sun is up and close at night when it's long set. For an entire season you might see real sunlight only once a week on your day off. That's four times a month. Stray costumers leave bad smells that hopefully won't stay longer than your merchandise.

For some people this picture is reality, an ordinary day in the life. And what if your job is to deliver other people's things on a questionable motorcycle? You're stuck in traffic all day, you breathe in exhausts like a vacuum cleaner and you're exposed to rain, snow and random anger at all times. Why, because if you don't do it, someone else will.
