Status Quo

Back in Seoul I realize how nice my apartment is. For some people it might not be much, and I have close friends who scold me for not being more ambitious about my place, but I really like it. Sure, I want to live in a penthouse castle with an ocean view, too. But for now this is it and I can't complain. The floor heats up quite nicely, I have sunshine in the morning and hot water whenever I need it.

At the door I have shoes cumulating and piling up, I found a nice mirror the other day that stands tall next to my book shelf in the entrance area. The kitchen is always busy, lacking a decent table to hold all the appliences that I have. In the cupboard you can find plates and glasses, bowls and mugs. The sink cabinet reveals important things like laundry detergent, garbage bags and cleaning devices.

The small room has a large mattress in it as well as some boxes and items that Patrick has left there for the time being. Once he is back and has settled in his own place I will turn that room into a study slash guest room. The bathroom is now equipped with a shower curtain and a wooden footrest. Lastly, there is my room. Bed, desk and chair, another book shelf, clothes rack and of course, there's me.
