Two oh five. Another night after another long day. William DeVaughn is telling me to Be Thankful For What I've Got, and he's probably right. I mean, I often hear people say you have to aim high and shoot for the stars, and most of the time I agree with them, but sometimes, on a night like this, for example, I look back on fourteen hours of work, for three different jobs, on a national holiday.
It's not always like this, but the jobs I'm commiting to sometimes require extra curricular activity. It's a shame that only one of them really pays, but then, I'm glad to be part of projects that I gladly work on for free, and to have close friends who ask me for favours, and I'm more than happy to help them out. I have three more notes on my to-do-list lying right in front of me, but right now I'm just too tired.
Tomorrow is another work day and I'm sort of looking forward to it, because I actually enjoy work. So, I really am thankful for that. I can wear whatever I feel like putting on in the morning, I can practice my Korean, my English and my German at the same time, and most importantly, I have awesome people around me. Creative minds and real go-getters. So yes, thank you life, thanks indeed.
