Working on a paper as important as the one that is currently occupying my desktop really changes some things. It may not improve the world, but it might make a difference in my life. First of all it marks the end of my studies. At least for now, because frankly, I'm slowly growing sick of academia.
No, but I mean little changes in your everyday life, which, put together, actually define your day. Things like, reading only books that benefit your work. Subconsciously or not, you don't pick up just any volume that speaks to you from the bookshelf. Things like drinking less alcohol and more coffee.
One thing comes to another and before you know it, your whole rhythm is messed up. You're a different person. You're not a skateboarder, not a writer, not a dreamer. You become your work, and your work becomes you. But it's over soon. Two more days. Two more days and I can finally return.
