One day walking, I stumbled over a stone and fell. Was it my fault walking the street, or was it the stone's fault for lying there. If you render the fall as a positive experience, then it is nobody's fault. The same goes for stumbling during one's journey of life. But, if you keep falling over the same stone again and again, then it is certain that the fault is yours.
This book by Korean writer and poet Lee Oisoo appeared in 2008 as a collection of essays, some of them as short as a single sentence. I bought the book, as a friend has recommended it to me, and frankly don't know what to do with many of the pieces. But some of them I find amusing and thoughtful, such as the one above, that I humbly took the liberty of quickly rendering it into English.
