A couple of days ago I had a talk
with my cousin about how your friends, and basically most people you’re
surrounded by, to some degree indicate what kind of person you are. Of course,
a person's personality is a mad complex thing and not to be rendered solely based
on the people one knows, but I do think there's a certain argument.
I took the bus home and found myself
looking out the window the whole ride. I kept thinking about my friends and
family, and the people I know. It made me realise that I’m a super fortunate
person, because I mostly have people around me that I genuinely like. At least for
now I can spend time with people who I actually want to spent time with.
The thing is, I’m not sure how long
I can say that about myself. Most people who have jobs also have colleagues,
people above and below them they don’t even know, they maybe don’t even want to
know. And yet they have to spend half the day with them. Maybe that’s a good
answer to the question that won’t leave me alone. What kind of job would I like to pursue?
