The very first time I lived by myself was in 2004. It was late summer and I moved to Seoul for a period of six months. I took a short-term course at a language school in Hyehwa-dong, which meant an hour on the train every morning. It was my first place, very humble with no tricks, no treats. But what it did have was a huge refridgerator. It was a nice little spot.
The second time I lived in Seoul was in 2009. I had moved to Shinchon, and again my commute to school would take about an hour. That's when I met P and Ee, we all had places in that area, we called it the Shinchon triangle. There's a lot to say about that one-room apartment I called mine for close to a year, but one thing I loved about it was the roof top washing mashine.
This is the third time I moved to Seoul and it's 2012. Today I was blessed with a new fridge, a washing mashine and a microwave oven. They're the perfect size, not too tall or big, because I don't have much space in the kitchen area to spare. What's left is a little table to put my toaster and coffee mashine on, then that part of the crib would be done. Still, there's a lot left to do.
