Constant Babbling

In front of me two American girls are talking about how a third girl's birthday is coming up and they don't know what to do. At another table there's a woman with an eastern Europe accent talking about corporate identities. To my side there's a British guy on the phone and behind me there's a French girl talking into her computer screen. Considering that I'm a German-born Korean in London, I feel like I perfectly fit in here.

"I'm totally glad that she's gonna get that cake delivered I mean oh my god I totally forgot to call her at midnight you know, because vhat I know is zat you can take zat figures and process zem into several different subdezines, and I own all four of his bloody albums which is a lot more than most people do, c'est pas de probleme, oh my god it says that he's engaged now but not to who only that he's totally engaged oh my god who is he engaged to I'm totally freaking out."

I'm not too far from losing my mind either, I lament and put on my headphones. I press the play button and listen to 'Jazz Thing', a super mellow compilation with mostly instrumentals. Perfect, I think, because I have plenty of vocals in my ear already. I'm making a mental list of casual things, starting with finishing this post. Other things deal with translation tasks and dinner decisions, weekday skate and weekend basketball sessions. I need to reactivate myself.
