Another super fun work of contemporary literature. Naa, just kidding. But I have to give this book some credit. It really is helpful when you're interested in translation studies. It provides you with a nice summary of how the discipline has come to life and how it has developed since then. It also presents a couple of theories, and some of them are actually interesting. I mean, I would actually read this book in my one time, if I hadn't had to read it for an essay at school. If you want to learn about things like skopos theory and equivalence, give this one a try.
