As I'm planning to post some artsy stuff, too, I'd like to admit right here and now, that I really don't know scratch about art. I'm actually sort of interested, but just too lazy to pick up a book and learn about it. But like every person owns a basic sense of rhythm, I'm sure everybody has a certain preference for art, too.
Maybe it's because I was partially raised by skateboarding (with all the deck graphics, brand images and whatnot), I think I developed a natural liking for certain stuff. Since I don't know the first thing about art, though, I won't try and start to explain what it is that I like. So instead of stupidly stating the obvious, like this:
I like the old school flavor of boomboxes and it's funny that this one is made out of wood.
Let's just say that some stuff makes me hesitate and think, some other stuff makes me imagine and smile, and other stuff doesn't. So, more often than not, I'm going to let the pictures pass without any comment like this:
